
According to Shanghai Metals Market, stocks of 6063 aluminium billet across five major consumption areas in China declined by 0.9% 1,200 tonnes from the previous week to 119,600 tonnes on Thursday, July 22, 2021.

Stocks in Foshan, Changzhou and Nanchang fell this week, standing at 52,300 tonnes, 14,000 tonnes and 22,150 tonnes on Thursday, July 22. That was down by 2,700 tonnes, 100 tonnes and 1,950 tonnes from 55,000 tonnes, 14,100 tonnes and 24,100 tonnes on July 15.
The inventories of billets in Wuxi and Huzhou increased. Among them, Huzhou stocks increased the most, with inventories increasing by 3,000 tonnes to stand at12,000 tonnes. The stocks in Wuxi inched up to 19,175 tonnes on Thursday, July 22.
