China’s A00 aluminium ingot price shrinks by RMB60/t; Alumina price in Guangxi loses RMB20/t

A00 aluminium ingot price has plunged by RMB 60 per tonne, closing at RMB 18,550 per tonne, as the Shanghai Metals Market recorded on Thursday, November 10. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 18,530 per tonne and RMB 18,570 per tonne, with spot contracts trading at a discount price of 40 per tonne.
The provinces in China have witnessed overall falling prices, with the aluminium ingot price rising only in Chongqing by RMB 120 per tonne to rest at RMB 18,770 per tonne. The price of aluminium in Gongyi dropped RMB 100 per tonne to curl up at RMB 18,430 per tonne, whereas the price of aluminium in Hangzhou has gone down by RMB 90 per tonne to halt at RMB 18,560 per tonne. The aluminium prices in Wuxi, Shenyang and Linyi all plummeted by RMB 60 per tonne to close at RMB 18,530 per tonne, RMB 18,490 per tonne and RMB 18,600 per tonne. In Foshan, the aluminium price settled at RMB 18,790 per tonne with a loss of RMB 30 per tonne, while the price of aluminium in Tianjin shed RMB 20 per tonne to arrive at RMB 18,570 per tonne.
In China, the domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has downsized by RMB 29 per tonne to stand at RMB 19,393 per tonne on Tuesday, November 8.
The prices of high-purity aluminium (99.99%) and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) both have nosedived by RMB 100 per tonne, closing at RMB 26,800 per tonne and RMB 27,800 per tonne.
The average alumina price in China has lost RMB 2 per tonne coming in at RMB 2,778 per tonne, and the alumina price in Guangxi has de-escalated by RMB 20 per tonne, closing at RMB 2,680 per tonne.
The aluminium alloy (A356) price has gone down the graph by RMB 50 per tonne arriving at RMB 19,800 per tonne. The average prices are likely to range between RMB 19,700 per tonne and RMB 19,900 per tonne, says SMM. The prices of aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) have stayed stagnant.
The aluminium powder price in China has also refrained from any change today.
