After recording a continuous rise in last one week surpassing RMB 23,000 per tonne, A00 aluminium ingot price in China has plummeted by RMB 530 per tonne on Tuesday, September 14, to settle at RMB 22,890 per tonne, found the Shanghai Metals Market. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 22,870 per tonne and RMB 22,910 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 70-30 per tonne.
Among the main Chinese cities, Wuxi has seen the sharpest fall of RMB 595 per tonne to RMB 22,810 per tonne, followed by the plunge of RMB 590 per tonne in Hangzhou to stand at RMB 22,820 per tonne. In Foshan, A00 aluminium ingot price has decreased by RMB 560 per tonne to settle at RMB 22,940 per tonne, while the price in Chongqing and Gongyi has shrunk by RMB 535 per tonne and RMB 530 per tonne to come in at RMB 22,860 per tonne and RMB 22,730 per tonne, respectively.
Aluminium alloys prices have also recorded a decline across China on September 14. According to SMM data, aluminium alloy (A356) price has nosedived by RMB 550 per tonne to stand at RMB 24,000 per tonne, with average prices likely to range between RMB 23,950-24,050 per tonne.
Aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have declined by RMB 200 per tonne to settle at RMB 23,300 per tonne and RMB 24,500 per tonne, respectively.
Meanwhile, among primary aluminium input costs, aluminium fluoride price has gained RMB 250 per tonne to come in at RMB 8,550 per tonne, while its average prices are likely to range between RMB 7,800-9,300 per tonne. Aluminium powder price, on the other hand, has dipped by RMB 0.50 per kg to close at RMB 26.45 per kg, learned SMM.
