China’s A00 aluminium ingot price grows to RMB19,850/t; Low-carbon aluminium price expands by RMB91/t

On Thursday, September 28, China’s A00 aluminium ingot price gained RMB 70 per tonne to score at RMB 19,850 per tonne, with the average prices between RMB 19,830 per tonne and RMB 19,870 per tonne. The spot contract price may be traded at a premium price of RMB 130 to RMB 170 per tonne.

The price in Foshan expanded by RMB 90 per tonne to clock at RMB 19,540 per tonne, followed by a growth of RMB 70 per tonne in Wuxi and Hangzhou to settle at RMB 19,830 per tonne and RMB 19,850 per tonne. On the same day, the prices in Chongqing and Tianjin experienced the same price hike to peg at RMB19,850 per tonne and RMB19,800 per tonne. As per the SMM data, the prices in Gongyi and Shenyang have ascended by RMB 50 per tonne and RMB 60 per tonne to come in at RMB 19,730 per tonne and RMB 19,760 per tonne. In Linyi, the domestic aluminium ingot price has moved up by RMB 20 per tonne to halt at RMB 19,800 per tonne.

The low carbon aluminium price has expanded by RMB 91 per tonne to reside at RMB 20,332 per tonne. The high-purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) price have gained RMB 100 per tonne to rest at RMB 27,400 per tonne and RMB 28,400 per tonne.

According to the Shanghai Metal Exchange (SMM) data, the average alumina spot price has increased by RMB 2 per tonne to reach RMB 2,953 per tonne. In Guangxi, it has increased by RMB 10 per tonne to clock at RMB 2,970 per tonne.

The Australian alumina FOB price has lost US$3 per tonne, reaching US$339 per tonne. The aluminium powder price has crawled up by RMB 0.1 per kg to close at RMB 21.9 per kg, with the average prices standing between RMB 21.8 per kg to 22 per kg. The price of aluminium alloy (A356) has grown by RMB 50 per tonne to reside at RMB 20,500 per tonne, with the average prices ranging between RMB 20,300 per tonne and RMB 20,700 per tonne.
