China’s A00 aluminium ingot price drops by RMB10/t to RMB18230/t; Average alumina spot price inches up by RMB1/t

A00 aluminium ingot price in China has decreased by RMB 10 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,230 per tonne, as recorded by the Shanghai Metals Market on Thursday, July 7. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 18,210 per tonne and RMB 18,250 per tonne, with spot contracts to be traded at a discount price of RMB 50 per tonne and RMB 10 per tonne.
In Shenyang and Linyi, the price has gone up by RMB 10 per tonne and RMB 40 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,280 per tonne and RMB 18,330 per tonne. However, on the other hand, the price in Gongyi and Foshan has descended by RMB 20 per tonne and RMB 30 per tonne to score at RMB 18,170 per tonne. In Wuxi, the price has inclined downwards by RMB 10 per tonne to land at RMB 18,220 per tonne. As per the SMM data, the A00 aluminium ingot price in Hangzhou, Chongqing and Tianjin has remained restrained to halt at RMB 18,280 per tonne, RMB 18,260 per tonne and RMB 18, 290 per tonne.
The average alumina spot has inched up RMB 1 per tonne to stop at RMB 2,959 per tonne. The price in Shanxi has gone up by RMB 5 per tonne to peg at RMB 2,885 per tonne, whereas the price in Guangxi has climbed down by RMB 5 per tonne to close at RMB 2,980 per tonne.
Aluminium alloy (ADC12) price and (A380) price have plunged by RMB 100 per tonne to come in at RMB 18,600 per tonne and RMB 19,600 per tonne. The average price for (ADC12) is expected to range between RMB 18,500 per tonne and RMB 18,700 per tonne. For aluminium alloy (A380), the average price is expected to orbit between RMB 19,500 per tonne and RMB 19,700 per tonne. Aluminium alloy (A356) price has remained unchanged to score at RMB 19,300 per tonne.
