Average alumina spot price in China surges by RMB 11/t to close at RMB 2,829/t; A00 aluminium ingot price grows by RMB 180/t

According to the Shanghai Metals Market, the average alumina spot price in China has opened the week on Monday, January 10, with an increase of RMB 11 per tonne to close at RMB 2,829 per tonne.

The average alumina spot price in Shandong and Shanxi has gone up by RMB 15 per tonne to clock at RMB 2,875 per tonne and RMB 2,850 per tonne, for the same day. On the other hand in Henan and Guizhou, the price has surged by RMB 10 per tonne to stand at RMB 2,845 per tonne and RMB 2,750 per tonne. In Lianyungang, the price has hiked by RMB 15 per tonne, to total at RMB 2,890 per tonne. Only in Guangxi and Bayuquan, the price has remained unchanged to peg at RMB 2,700 per tonne and RMB 2,925 per tonne, for the same day, respectively.

The A00 aluminium ingot price has also shown growth by RMB 180 per tonne to settle at RMB 21,220 per tonne. The average price is expected to range between RMB 21,200 per tonne and RMB 21,240 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 4-80 per tonne.

In Gongyi, Shenyang, and Linyi, the A00 aluminium ingot price has ascended by RMB 180 per tonne to come in at RMB 21,220 per tonne, RMB 21,190 per tonne and RMB 21,270 per tonne. In Foshan and Wuxi, the price has climbed up by RMB 230 per tonne and RMB 210 per tonne, to close at RMB 21,190 per tonne and RMB 21,240 per tonne. In Hangzhou and Chongqing, the price has escalated by RMB 205 per tonne and RMB 190 per tonne, for the same day. The average price for the same has closed at RMB 21,245 per tonne and RMB 21,220 per tonne. In Tianjin, the price has shot up by RMB 170 per tonne to record at RMB 21,190 per tonne.

Among aluminium alloy price, aluminium alloy (ADC12) price has ascended by RMB 50 per tonne to peg at RMB 20,750 per tonne. The average prices are expected to stand between RMB 20,650 per tonne and RMB 20,850 per tonne.

Aluminium alloy (A356) price has hiked by RMB 200 per tonne to come in at RMB 23,150 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to hover between RMB 23,100 per tonne and RMB 23,200 per tonne.

Global Aluminium Foundry

Aluminium alloy (A380) price has also gone up by RMB 50 per tonne to register at RMB 21,950 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to orbit between RMB 21,850 per tonne and RMB 22,050 per tonne.
