Average alumina spot price in China soars up by RMB 6/t to RMB 3,303/t; A00 ingot price grows by RMB 100/t
According to the Shanghai Metals Market, the average alumina spot price in China has gone up by RMB 6 per tonne to score at RMB 3,303 per tonne as of Tuesday, February 15. For the same day in Guangxi the price has surged by RMB 10 per tonne to come in at RMB 3,190 per tonne.
In Shandong and Henan, the price has also hiked by RMB 5 per tonne to register at RMB 3,300 per tonne and RMB 3,320 per tonne, for the same day. In provinces like Shanxi, the price has grown by RMB 5 per tonne to clock at RMB 3,310 per tonne. In Guizhou, the price has ascended by RMB 20 per tonne to record at RMB 3,290 per tonne. Only in Lianyungang and Bayuquan, the price has remained restrained to close at RMB 3,100 per tonne and RMB 3,200 per tonne.
The Australian alumina FOB price has also inched up by US$8 per tonne to settle at US$393 per tonne.
As per the data shared by the Shanghai Metals Market, the A00 aluminium ingot price has gone up by RMB 100 per tonne to peg at RMB 22,680 per tonne. The average prices are likely to range between RMB 22,660 per tonne and RMB 22,700 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 20-20 per tonne.
The price in Gongyi and Tianjin has escalated by RMB 70 per tonne to total at RMB 22,490 per tonne and RMB 22,650 per tonne. In Wuxi and Chongqing the price has also soared up by RMB 100 per tonne to record at RMB 22,680 per tonne respectively.
In Shenyang and Linyi, the price has gone up by RMB 80 per tonne to score at RMB 22,650 per tonne and RMB 22,710 per tonne. The A00 aluminium ingot price in Foshan and Hangzhou has hiked by RMB 10 per tonne and RMB 85 per tonne. The price for the same has been recorded at RMB 22,760 per tonne and RMB 22,685 per tonne.
On the other hand, Aluminium alloy (ADC12) price, (A356) price and (A380) price has remained unchanged. The price for the same has been scored at RMB 22,300 per tonne for (ADC12), RMB 24,050 per tonne for (A356) and RMB 23,500 per tonne for (A380).
