Average alumina spot price in China grows by RMB 45/t to total at RMB 3,105/t; A00 aluminium ingot price slips by RMB 20/t

According to the Shanghai Metals Market, the average alumina spot price in China has surged by RMB 45 per tonne to come in at RMB 3,105 per tonne.

The average alumina spot price in Shandong has also grown by RMB 35 per tonne to settle at RMB 3,110 per tonne. On the other hand, in Henan and Shanxi the price has also shot up by RMB 40 per tonne and RMB 50 per tonne to close at RMB 3,125 per tonne, for the same day. The average alumina price in Guizhou and Guangxi has also increased by RMB 25 per tonne and RMB 60 per tonne to peg at RMB 2,975 per tonne and RMB 3,020 per tonne. Only in Lianyungang and Bayuquan, the price has remained restrained to register at RMB 3,000 per tonne and RMB 3,050 per tonne.

The Australian alumina FOB price has ascended by US$7 per tonne to close at US$355 per tonne, for the same day.

On the other hand, the A00 aluminium ingot price has gone down by RMB 20 per tonne to clock at RMB 21,630 per tonne, as of Friday, January 21. The average prices are likely to range between RMB 21,340 per tonne and RMB 21,380 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 0-40 per tonne.

In Shenyang and Tianjin, the price has descended by RMB 30 per tonne to close at RMB 21,280 per tonne. In Gongyi and Wuxi, the price has slipped by RMB 30 per tonne and RMB 20 per tonne to stand at RMB 21,140 per tonne and RMB 21,355 per tonne.

On the other hand in Hangzhou and Chongqing, the price has also slumped by RMB 20 per tonne and RMB 30 per tonne to total at RMB 21,365 per tonne and RMB 21,350 per tonne. In Linyi, the price has dropped by RMB 60 per tonne to register at RMB 21,250 per tonne. Only in Foshan the price has remained unchanged to peg at RMB 21,360 per tonne for the same day.

However, the aluminium alloy (ADC12) price, aluminium alloy (A356) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price has remained unchanged. The prices for the same has been recorded at RMB 21,150 per tonne for (ADC12), RMB 23,000 per tonne for (A356) and RMB 22,350 per tonne for (A380).
