ASI certifies Shangqiu Yangguang Aluminium Product Co., Ltd. against Chain of Custody Standard certification

Aluminium Stewardship Initiative has certified Shangqiu Yangguang Aluminium Product Co., Ltd. against its Chain of Custody Standard certification for aluminium smelting, cold rolling, annealing and packing operations, and related management activities. Shangqiu Yangguang Aluminium’s main products are aluminium and aluminium alloy plate and aluminium sheet and strip.

Earlier, in January 2021, the company achieved the ASI Performance Standard certification for its plant in Shangqiu City, Henan Province, China.

The ASI Chain of Custody Standard certification sets out requirements for the creation of a Chain of Custody for material that is produced and processed through the value chain into diverse downstream sectors.

The independent, third-party audit of the Shangqiu Yangguang Aluminium Product Co., Ltd. plant was carried out by DNV Business Assurance Services UK Ltd.
