Notes:
There may be a difference when calculating the price with respect to
import volume, carbon price, and benchmark emissions, as the embedded
formula may result in minor variations due to decimal rounding.
Therefore, the actual value may vary.
CBAM is applicable to trade volumes starting from 50 metric tonnes. For trade volumes below 50 metric tonnes, CBAM does not apply.
Usage Procedure – How to use the CBAM Calculator Sheet
Enter or update values only in the
INPUT PARAMETERS section (Highlighted in blue) ,

American Specialty Alloys continues with aluminium alloy project as Revolution Aluminum
2MINS READ
Construction and installation work at the $2.4 billion aluminum alloy plant in the Pineville area, Louisiana, will still continue, but it will do so under a new name. American Specialty Alloys has changed its name to Revolution Aluminum LLC, although its original name is yet to show up on its website.
As American Specialty Alloys, often referred to as ASA, the company announced earlier this year that it will build an aluminum alloy plant at the former site of the International Paper mill near Pineville.
“The project is still moving ahead,” said Jim Clinton, president of the Central Louisiana Economic Development Alliance. He was familiar with the company name change. The company has been planning the name change for a while, and documents involving the company are being changed to reflect the new name, Clinton said. That includes paperwork for the Rapides Parish Police Jury, which is applying for grants and providing other assistance to facilitate the project.
The jury voted in a special meeting to rescind its related resolutions to assist ASA and then immediately passed the same resolutions to assist Revolution Aluminum LLC. Police Jury President Richard Billings said those actions were taken to officially accommodate the company’s new name.
The plant, which will manufacture aluminum alloy for the automotive and aerospace industries, is projected to employ more than 1,400 people and generate 2,600 indirect jobs. It is expected to be ready to open in 2020.
