Aluminum can recycling drive at the Tri-Oswego Triathlon 2012

Novelis, the presenting sponsor of the Tri-Oswego event, and the world leader in rolled aluminum products and aluminum can recycling, is requesting that participants who will be attending this weekend’s Tri-Oswego, bring 25 aluminum cans to Breitbeck Park. Individuals who bring in the minimum of 25 cans will in turn be entered into a raffle for a new bicycle.
According to Tri-Oswego, the aluminum cans should be brought to Breitbeck Park prior to the Novelis Kids’ Fun Run, which is scheduled for 2:00 pm on Saturday. The race is free of charge, and the can recycling is not a requirement to participate in the event. In addition to the triathlon and Kids’ Fun Run, a variety of other activities are planned for this year’s event including the Oswego Health and Wellness Expo, Youth Bicycle Rodeo, Zumba and Yoga for kids, Inflatable Bounce Houses, US Army displays, music, and more.
