Aluminium project to begin production

An aluminium-bauxite project in the Tay Nguyen (Central Highlands) province of Lam Dong should turn out its first batch of aluminium product in the second quarter of this year, according to the Viet Nam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group. By the end of 2010, VND99.5 trillion had been invested in the project, accounting for 85 per cent of its total investment. A bauxite factory will also be put into operation in April this year.
