
According to the Shanghai Metals Market, aluminium billet inventories in China drops by 7,200 tonnes week-on-week across five major consumption areas. Due to which the inventories stood at 71,700 tonnes as of Thursday, December 2.
The greatest contributor to the dropping social inventory was still Foshan, which had its local inventory decline 6,400 tonnes, or 21.05 percent, during the week. Wuxi and Changzhou had lower stocks, whereas Huzhou and Nanchang had somewhat higher inventories. The losses in weekly social inventory were still caused by decreased aluminium billet arrivals.

In Foshan, aluminium inventories moved down 6,400 tonnes this week to close at 24,000 tonnes. In Wuxi, inventories plummeted by 2,040 tonnes to come in at 14,350 tonnes. In Changzhou, inventories plunged by 1000 tonnes to settle at 11,900 tonnes.

In Huzhou, the inventories climbed up by 2000 tonnes to close at 8000 tonnes. In Nanchang, there was a slight increase of 230 tonnes t stand at 13,430 tonnes.
