
The average alumina spot price in China has extended its growth by RMB 4 per tonne to come in at RMB 2,476 per tonne on Thursday, June 3, found the Shanghai Metals Market. In Guizhou and Guangxi, alumina price has increased by RMB 15 per tonne to peg at RMB 2,430 per tonne, while the price in Henan has gained RMB 5 per tonne to stand at RMB 2,480 per tonne. Meanwhile, in Shandong and Shanxi, alumina price has remained restrained at RMB 2,470 per tonne and RMB 2,490 per tonne, respectively.

Australian alumina FOB price has continued to remain muted at US$ 279 per tonne.
A00 aluminium ingot price has further decreased by RMB 10 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,670 per tonne on June 3, learned SMM. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 18,650 per tonne and RMB 18,690 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 20-20 per tonne.

However, the decline in primary aluminium ingot price today has not touched upon all the major Chinese markets such as Foshan and Linyi, where the price has increased by RMB 40 per tonne and RMB 10 per tonne to come in at RMB 18,870 per tonne and RMB 18,720 per tonne, respectively. In Gongyi and Tianjin, the price has remained restrained at RMB 18,660 per tonne and RMB 18,700 per tonne, respectively.
Aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price has plunged by RMB 200 per tonne to stand at RMB 18,900 per tonne and RMB 19,900 per tonne, respectively. On the other hand, aluminium alloy (A356) price has remained restrained at RMB 19,350 per tonne.
