Aleris named Kelly R. Thomas vice president and Treasurer, effective September 1, 2011, responsible for Global Treasury operations, Investor Relations and Global Risk. Thomas, currently vice president, Global Risk, succeeds Michael J. Hobey, who will become vice president, Finance for the company's Rolled Products North America business.
