
A00 aluminium ingot price in China has registered a decline yet again by RMB 380 per tonne to stand at RMB 20,480 per tonne on Wednesday, October 27, found the Shanghai Metals Market. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 20,460 per tonne and RMB 20,500 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 100-60 per tonne.

In Gongyi and Foshan, primary aluminium ingot price has plunged by RMB 390 per tonne and RMB 380 per tonne, respectively, to come in at RMB 20,400 per tonne and RMB 20,490 per tonne, while the price in Shenyang has shrunk by RMB 375 per tonne to peg at RMB 20,545 per tonne. In Wuxi, Hangzhou, and Chongqing, A00 aluminium ingot price has declined by RMB 370 per tonne to close at RMB 20,480 per tonne, and the price in Tianjin and Linyi has descended by RMB 360 per tonne to stand at RMB 20,580 per tonne.
Aluminium alloy (A356) price has also continued to decline for the fourth straight day by RMB 400 per tonne to come below RMB 24,000 per tonne. According to the Shanghai Metals Market, the price has come in at RMB 23,950 per tonne on October 27, with average prices likely to range between RMB 23,900 per tonne and RMB 24,000 per tonne.

On the other hand, both aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have witnessed a fall of RMB 200 per tonne to settle at RMB 22,500 per tonne and RMB 23,700 per tonne, respectively.
Among primary aluminium input costs, caustic soda (32% concentration) price in Shandong has slipped by RMB 55 per tonne to close at RMB 1,735 per tonne, while the price of caustic soda (50% concentration) in Shandong has recorded a downfall of RMB 100 per tonne to RMB 2,675 per tonne.
Aluminium powder price has inched down by RMB 0.40 per kg to come in at RMB 23.35 per kg, with average prices estimated to range between RMB 23.30 per kg and RMB 23.40 per kg.
