A00 aluminium ingot price has increased further for the third consecutive day to exceed RMB 15,500 per tonne, as of Monday, February 8, found the Shanghai Metals Market. Data shows the price is standing at RMB 15,600 per tonne witnessing a growth of RMB 90 per tonne. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 15,580 per tonne and RMB 15,620 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 50-10 per tonne, up by RMB 20 per tonne from the previous day.
In Foshan, A00 aluminium ingot price has grown the highest by RMB 150 per tonne to RMB 15,620 per tonne, followed by the surge of RMB 110 per tonne in Wuxi and Hangzhou to stand at RMB 15,580 per tonne and RMB 15,605 per tonne, respectively. In Gongyi and Shenyang, primary aluminium ingot price has witnessed a hike of RMB 80 per tonne and RMB 40 per tonne to, respectively, come in at RMB 15,450 per tonne and RMB 15,520 per tonne. In Chongqing and Tianjin, A00 aluminium ingot price has inched up by RMB 30 per tonne to RMB 15,530 per tonne and RMB 15,480 per tonne, while the price in Linyi is up by RMB 10 per tonne to RMB 15,540 per tonne.
Aluminium alloy (A356) price has surged as well by RMB 100 per tonne to clock at RMB 16,300 per tonne on Monday, February 8, learned SMM. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 16,250 per tonne and RMB 16,350 per tonne.
Aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have increased by RMB 50 per tonne to stand at RMB 17,050 per tonne and RMB 17,950 per tonne, respectively.
Among the primary aluminium raw materials, none other than aluminium powder has witnessed a price change. It has inched up by RMB 0.10 per kg to come in at RMB 19.15 per kg, according to SMM.
