A00 aluminium ingot price closes the week with a growth of RMB220/t; Alumina price slips by RMB4/t

A00 aluminium ingot price in China hikes for the third consecutive day to settle at RMB 18,660 per tonne as of Friday, October 21. The price has witnessed a hike of RMB 220 per tonne, with the average prices ranging between RMB 18,640 per tonne and RMB 18,680 per tonne. The spot contract price is expected to be traded at a premium price of RMB 10 per tonne to RMB 50 per tonne.

As per the SMM data, the price in Wuxi, Hangzhou and Tianjin has grown by RMB 220 per tonne to score at RMB 18,670 per tonne, RMB 18,690 per tonne and RMB 18,640 per tonne. On the same day, the A00 aluminium ingot price in Foshan, Gongyi, Chongqing and Linyi surged by RMB 210 per tonne to clock at RMB 18,770 per tonne, RMB 18,640 per tonne, RMB 18,790 per tonne and RMB 18,710 per tonne. In Shenyang, the price ascended by RMB 180 per tonne to peg at RMB 18,600 per tonne.

The price of high-purity aluminium (99.99%) and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) has increased by RMB 200 per tonne to come in at RMB 26,900 per tonne and RMB 27,900 per tonne.

The average alumina spot price has gone down by RMB 4 per tonne to reside at RMB 2,806 per tonne. In Shandong, the price slipped by RMB 30 per tonne to settle at RMB 2,750 per tonne, and in Guizhou, the price decreased by RMB 10 per tonne to stop at RMB 2,770 per tonne.

The aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price has ascended by RMB 100 per tonne to settle at RMB 19,450 per tonne and RMB 20,450 per tonne. The average price for the former is likely to orbit between RMB 19,350 per tonne and RMB 19,550 per tonne. For aluminium alloy (A380), the average price may range between RMB 20,350 per tonne and RMB 20,550 per tonne. On the same day, aluminium alloy (A356) price has grown by RMB 150 per tonne to peg at RMB 20,100 per tonne, with the average price standing between RMB 20,000 per tonne to RMB 20,200 per tonne.
