On Wednesday, December 20, the A00 aluminium ingot price in China has grown by RMB 40 per tonne to clock at RMB 18,980 per tonne, with average prices between RMB 18,960 per tonne and RMB 19,000 per tonne. The spot contract price may be traded at a discount price of RMB 10 per tonne to a premium price of RMB 30 per tonne.
As per the SMM data, the prices have grown in all the provinces. On the same day, the price in Tianjin has hiked by RMB 60 per tonne to clock at RMB 18,980 per tonne. The Shanghai Metals Market (SMM) data revealed that the domestic aluminium ingot prices in Wuxi, Hangzhou and Linyi have ascended by RMB 40 per tonne to clock at RMB 18,960 per tonne, RMB 18,980 per tonne and RMB 19,030 per tonne. The prices in Chongqing and Shenyang have also expanded by RMB 30 per tonne to settle at RMB 19,030 per tonne and RMB 18,940 per tonne. The domestic aluminium ingot prices in Gongyi and Foshan have increased by RMB 10 per tonne to reside at RMB 19,020 per tonne and RMB 19,060 per tonne.
On the same day, the low carbon aluminium price added RMB 16 per tonne to a halt at RMB 19,811 per tonne. The high-purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) price have surged by RMB 100 per tonne to settle at RMB 26,700 per tonne and RMB 27,700 per tonne.
The price of aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) have grown by RMB 100 per tonne, reaching RMB 19,800 per tonne and RMB 20,800 per tonne. The average price for (ADC12) may range between RMB 19,700 per tonne and RMB 19,900 per tonne. For aluminium alloy (A380), the average price is expected to orbit between RMB 20,700 per tonne and RMB 20,900 per tonne.
The price of aluminium alloy (A356) has added RMB 50 per tonne to settle at RMB 19,650 per tonne, with average prices between RMB 19,500 per tonne and RMB 19,800 per tonne. As per the SMM data, the price of aluminium powder has inched up by RMB 0.1 per kg to rest at RMB 21.6 per kg, with the average prices standing between RMB 21.5 per kg and RMB 21.7 per kg.
