China’s A00 aluminium ingot price falls by RMB70/t to RMB18,810/t; Low carbon aluminium price loses RMB98/t

On Thursday, November 23, China’s A00 aluminium ingot has dropped by RMB 70 per tonne to clock at RMB 18,810 per tonne, with the average prices standing between RMB 18,790 per tonne and RMB 18,830 per tonne. The spot contract price may be traded at a discount price of RMB 30 to a premium price of RMB 10 per tonne.

As per the Shanghai Metals Market (SMM) data, the price in Foshan has fallen by RMB 90 per tonne to reach RMB 18,900 per tonne. The prices in Wuxi and Hangzhou have also slumped by RMB 70 per tonne to clock at RMB 18,810 per tonne. On the same day, the domestic aluminium ingot price in Tianjin also witnessed the same fall of RMB 70 per tonne to peg at RMB 18,840 per tonne. The A00 aluminium ingot prices in Shenyang and Chongqing have dropped by RMB 60 per tonne and RMB 40 per tonne to halt at RMB 18,840 per tonne. In Linyi and Gongyi, the prices have slipped by RMB 40 per tonne and RMB 20 per tonne to reside at RMB 18,910 per tonne and RMB 18,800 per tonne.

The domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has dipped by RMB 98 per tonne to come in at RMB 19,656 per tonne. On the same day, the high-purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) price have contracted by RMB 100 per tonne to settle at RMB 26,400 per tonne and RMB 27,400 per tonne.

On the same day, the price of aluminium alloy (A356) decreased by RMB 50 per tonne to settle at RMB 19,500 per tonne, with average prices between RMB 19,300 per tonne and RMB 19,700 per tonne. As per the SMM data, both (ADC12) price and (A380) price have shown no change at RMB 19,400 per tonne and RMB 20,400 per tonne.
