China’s A00 aluminium ingot price closes the week with a decline of RMB230/t; Alumina spot price inches up by RMB4/t

As per SMM data, the A00 aluminium ingot price closes the week with a plunge of RMB 230 per tonne to score at RMB 21,800 per tonne. The average price for today has been registered between RMB 21,780 per tonne and RMB 21,820 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 70-30 per tonne.

Gongyi and Chongqing has also witnessed decline by RMB 210 per tonne to record at RMB 21,740 per tonne and RMB 21,780 per tonne. As of today, the A00 aluminium ingot price in Wuxi and Shenyang, the price has plummeted by RMB 220 per tonne to total at RMB 21,800 per tonne and RMB 21,750 per tonne. In Tianjin and Linyi the price has dropped by RMB 180 per tonne and RMB 200 per tonne to come in at RMB 21,850 per tonne and RMB 21,920 per tonne. For Foshan and Hangzhou, the price has slumped by RMB 230 per tonne and RMB 305 per tonne to stand at RMB 21,830 per tonne and RMB 21,875 per tonne.

According to SMM, aluminium alloy (ADC12) price and (A380) price has also moved down by RMB 50 per tonne to stop at RMB 22,000 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to range between RMB 21,900 per tonne and RMB 22,100 per tonne. For (A380) the average price is expected to register between RMB 22,900 per tonne and RMB 23,100 per tonne.

For aluminium alloy (A356), the price has dived down by RMB 250 per tonne to halt at RMB 23,300 per tonne, with average price expected to orbit between RMB 23,200 per tonne and RMB 23,400 per tonne.

Amongst the decrease in price, the average alumina spot price has crawled up by RMB 4 per tonne to pause at RMB 2,989 per tonne, followed by Henan, where the price has inched up by RMB 10 per tonne to peg at RMB 3,015 per tonne. For the same day, the price in Lianyungang and Bayuquan has descended by RMB 275 per tonne to total at RMB 3,150 per tonne and RMB 3,250 per tonne. In other provinces like Shandong and Shanxi, the price has stood unchanged to close at RMB 2,975 per tonne and RMB 2,965 per tonne. For the same day in Guizhou and Guangxi the price has remained restrained to record at RMB 3,010 per tonne and RMB 2,990 per tonne.
