Xingfa Aluminum successfully embraces digitalization for each of its production workshop

Xingfa Aluminium, founded in 1984, is a significant manufacturer of aluminium profiles, windows, doors, and curtain walls in China. The intelligent system is used in every Xingfa Aluminium industry production workshop and includes almost everything from product development and design to order placement, production, logistics, and distribution. The entire process is coordinated on the system, with real-time production data updates, saving more than 30 per cent of personnel compared to traditional aluminium processing enterprises and increasing efficiency by 50 per cent.

By placing the digital factory at its core, Xingfa Aluminium has effectively utilised cloud computing, big data, smart logistics, process reengineering, and other emerging technologies. Consequently, it has successfully transformed into an intelligent factory specialising in high-end aluminium profile production and deep processing.

Xingfa Aluminium has invested over RMB 100 million annually in automation, intelligent transformation, and information construction in the last five years. It has established the industry's first smart factory to investigate the digital factory model - Xingfa precision manufacturing production base, from intelligent manufacturing, green environmental protection, and other aspects to improve enterprises' manufacturing level and promote enterprises' deep integration.

According to Liu Huaizheng, general manager of Guangdong Xingfa Precision Manufacturing Co., LTD., the total investment in the Xingfa Precision Manufacturing production base project exceeds RMB one billion, and it will be classified as a digital intelligent demonstration factory (second-level factory) in Foshan City.

"The production process of aluminum profiles is complex and many influencing factors require a lot of facilities and equipment to cooperate at the same time. To this end, to deal with the massive data in the aluminum profile production process, the cloud on the device is the key to realise the intelligent manufacturing of aluminum profiles," said Xingfa Aluminum science and technology management Minister Luo Mingqiang introduced.

To optimise operational efficiency, smart factories necessitate the integration of both automation and digitisation. Since 2000, Xingfa Aluminium has been optimising internal network construction, establishing an enterprise-level communication network platform, connecting upstream and downstream supply information, developing a comprehensive value chain management system, achieving logistics, capital flow, information flow "three streams into one," and cross-departmental process integration, and increasing the enterprise's operational efficiency and overall management level.

Xingfa Aluminium employs cutting-edge digital management tools to achieve global digitisation and intelligence in R&D design, order management, manufacturing, logistics distribution, production, supply, and marketing coordination.
