The Czech mineral water brand has entered the emerging canned water category with a 250 ml Slim aluminium can, combining its heritage positioning with a modern packaging format.
Vincentka, a long-established Czech natural mineral water brand, has introduced a 250 ml Slim aluminium can in partnership with CANPACK. The move brings the brand into an emerging mineral water packaging category, where aluminium cans offer an alternative format for consumers seeking refreshment on the go.
Produced at CANPACK’s facility in Brzesko, Poland, the can features a Superwhite effect and Matt varnish finish. The design aims to give the packaging a premium appearance while retaining Vincentka’s natural brand identity.
A heritage brand enters a new format
Vincentka’s move into aluminium packaging brings its established identity into a format suited to contemporary consumption. The company said the decision was about meeting consumers’ changing preferences without moving away from the brand’s natural origin and heritage.
The 250 ml Slim can is designed for portability and on-the-go use, including outdoor occasions. Its compact shape and premium finish also position it as a distinctive option within the emerging canned mineral water category.

Aluminium packaging offers protection and design flexibility
Aluminium cans protect their contents from exposure to light and oxygen, helping preserve the water’s natural qualities, according to the companies. The Slim format is also intended to offer a convenient drinking experience, particularly for younger consumers.
The packaging provides a surface for distinctive branding. CANPACK’s Superwhite effect creates a crisp visual finish, while the Matt varnish adds a smooth, velvety texture. Together, the finishes are intended to convey Vincentka’s natural positioning and premium identity.
The launch illustrates how aluminium packaging can bring together functional properties and visual design as brands explore new formats for mineral water.

CANPACK supports production in Poland
The cans were produced at CANPACK’s Brzesko plant, where the company applied its printing and finishing capabilities to the project.
“Mineral water in can is still a young category, and Vincentka shows exactly what it’s capable of,” said Filip Dostal, Sales Manager at CANPACK. He said the Brzesko team brought precision and finishing expertise to help the heritage brand enter the category while retaining its traditional identity.
Vincentka Chairman of the Board of Directors Jan Šumšal said the move was intended to meet consumers’ current needs without changing the brand’s identity. He said the collaboration with CANPACK resulted in a modern format and finish that remain aligned with Vincentka’s natural origin.
Vincentka’s entry into aluminium cans adds a heritage mineral water brand to the developing category. The project also highlights how packaging design and manufacturing expertise can help brands adapt to new formats while maintaining an established identity.
