Texmaco Rail & Engineering has received a letter of award worth INR 285.8 million (USD 3 million) from Vedanta Aluminium for the supply of one BTAP alumina transportation rake along with one brake van or guard vehicle.

Texmaco also clarified that neither its promoters nor promoter group entities have any interest in the awarding company, and the contract does not fall under related-party transactions.
The latest order follows another contract awarded earlier by Vedanta Aluminium worth INR 571.5 million (USD 6 million), under which Texmaco was selected to supply and commission two BTAP rakes and two BVCM units. Each rake under that order includes 53 wagons and one BVCM unit. The first rake is scheduled for delivery within six months from the effective date of May 8, 2026, while the second is expected within eight months.

The new order further strengthens Texmaco Rail & Engineering’s freight wagon and rolling stock business, which supplies rail transport equipment used in industrial logistics and bulk material movement.
Part of the Adventz Group, Texmaco operates across three core business segments: freight cars, rail infrastructure, green energy, and electrical infrastructure.
The company recently reported consolidated net profit of INR 576.8 million (USD 6.05 million) for the fourth quarter of FY26, up 45.03 per cent from INR 397.7 million (USD 4.17 million) in the same period a year earlier.

Shares of Texmaco Rail & Engineering were trading 0.37 per cent higher at INR 108.35 (USD 1.14) on the BSE following the announcement.
