Texmaco Rail & Engineering Limited has received a domestic order worth INR 571.5 million (USD 6 million), including taxes, from Vedanta Aluminium for the supply and commissioning of two BTAP rakes and two BVCM units. The company disclosed the order under SEBI’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations. The contract became effective on May 8, 2026.

Under the order, Texmaco Rail will supply two sets of BTAP rakes. Each rake will include 53 wagons and one BVCM unit. The first rake is expected to be delivered and commissioned within six months from the effective date, while the second rake is expected within eight months.

The company stated that the order is a domestic contract and does not fall under related party transactions. It also clarified that its promoter group and associated companies do not have any interest in the awarding entity.
The order details were disclosed by Sandeep Kumar Sultania, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of Texmaco Rail & Engineering, in line with SEBI regulations and the circular issued on 30 January 2026.

The contract adds to Texmaco Rail’s rolling stock and freight wagon business, which supplies rail equipment and engineering products for industrial and logistics operations.
