
According to the US Census Bureau, the United States imported 28,200 tonnes of aluminium crude metals and alloys from the United Arab Emirates in July 2021. That was sharply down by 8,500 tonnes or 23.16 per cent from 36,700 tonnes in June 2021. In May, the US imports stood at 32,800 tonnes, meaning the imports in June recorded a month-on-month rise of 3,900 tonnes in June.

On a year-on-year calculation, the United States aluminium crude metals and alloys imports from the UAE in July 2021 edged a significant rise of 284 per cent from 7,350 tonnes.
From January to July, the United States’ aluminium crude metals and alloys imports from the UAE totalled 206,000 tonnes, up by 11.35 per cent from 185,000 tonnes during the corresponding period last year.
The United States total aluminium crude metals and alloys imports in July 2021 stood at 299,000 tonnes, reflecting a month-on-month rise of 5,000 tonnes or 1.7 per cent from 294,000 tonnes. On a year-on-year calculation, the imports grew 18.19 per cent from 253,000 tonnes.
In the first seven months, the imports stood at 2.03 million tonnes, which was down by 2.40 per cent year-on-year from 2.08 million tonnes.
