Three-month LME aluminium settled lower at US$2,392.5/t; SHFE aluminium advanced 1.42%
Three-month LME aluminium settled 0.27% lower at US$2,392.5 per tonne on Tuesday. SMM expects the contract to trade between US$2,380-2,400 per tonne today.
As of Tuesday April 27, LME aluminium cash (bid) price stands at US$ 2389 per tonne, LME official settlement price stands at US$ 2389 per tonne; 3-months bid price stands at US$ 2394 per tonne, 3-months offer price is US$ 2394 per tonne; Dec 22 bid price stands at US$ 2391.50 per tonne, and Dec 22 offer price stands at US$ 2391.50 per tonne.
The LME aluminium opening stock stood at 1787525 tonnes. Live Warrants totalled 1218700 tonnes, and Cancelled Warrants were 568825 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-months Asian Reference Price is hovering at US$ 2408.98 per tonne.
SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
Benchmark aluminium price for SHFE decreased to stand at US$ 2836 per tonne on Wednesday, 28 April 2021.
The most-liquid SHFE 2106 aluminium contract finished the day 1.42% higher at RMB18,605 per tonne on Tuesday. The most-active SHFE 06 aluminium contract weakened 0.24% to close at 18,480 per tonne in overnight trading. The contract is likely to fluctuate between 18,300-18,500 per tonne today.
