Three-month LME aluminium settled 0.39% higher at US$2,604/t, SHFE aluminium edged up 0.20%
Three-month LME aluminium opened at US$2,592 per tonne on Tuesday morning. The price closed US$10 per tonne or 0.39% higher at US$2,604 per tonne.
As of Tuesday, August 24, LME aluminium cash (bid) price stands at US$ 2648.50 per tonne, LME official settlement price stands at US$ 2648.50 per tonne; 3-months bid price stands at US$ 2627 per tonne, 3-months offer price is US$ 2627 per tonne; Dec 22 bid price stands at US$ 2587.50 per tonne, and Dec 22 offer price stands at US$ 2587.50 per tonne.
The LME aluminium opening stock stood at 1295125 tonnes. Live Warrants totalled 844475 tonnes and Cancelled Warrants were 450650 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-months Asian Reference Price is hovering at US$ 2605.11 per tonne.
SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
Benchmark aluminium price for SHFE increased to stand at US$ 3174 per tonne on Wednesday, 25 August, 2021.
The most-traded SHFE 2110 aluminium closed up 0.20% RMB 20425 per tonne, with open interest up 15614 lots to 295000 lots. The contract opened Tuesday’s night session at RMB20,490 per tonne and closed at RMB20,440 per tonne, up 0.07%.
