The 8th International IBAAS-GAMI Conference & Exhibition opens its doors to delegates on September 4, in Guiyang, China

The 8th International IBAAS-GAMI Conference & Exhibition jointly organized by IBAAS and GAMI will open its door to the national and international delegates on September 4, 2019 at Renaissance Guiyang Hotel in the picturesque city of Guiyang, China. The three day event which will be concluded on September 6 will discourse upon the theme of “Technological Advances in Alumina, Aluminium Smelter, Downstream Fabrication, Energy Conservation, Environmental Protection and Smart Manufacturing with Special Reference to China”.

75 top delegates from the various prestigious companies and associations from the aluminium supply chain have confirmed their presence for the conference. One of the key conferences for the aluminium value chain, IBAAS this year has formulated a world class program focusing on key issues around bauxite, alumina, aluminium and aluminium downstream industry and secondary sectors with special reference to China.

The summit will also organize visits to Huajin Alumina Refinery, Huaren Smelter Plant and Chongqing Huafon Aluminiun on 7th September, 2019.

Huajin Alumina Refinery has a total capacity of 1600kTPA. This is the most compact refinery in China.  

Guizhou Huaren Aluminium Smelter by Guizhou Huaren New Material Corporation Limited has a pot-line of 368 numbers 500kA pots, which has adopted the GP500kA high amperage pot technology developed by GAMI.

Chongqing Huafon Aluminiun Corporation is the second aluminium rolling plant of Huafon Group. The design capacity of Chongqing Huafon is 700,000kTPA, and the production line of 200,000kTPA was put into production in 2018 as the first phase.
