After the resounding success of the inaugural International Metal Technology Taiwan Exhibition and Conference (iMT Taiwan) in 2015, preparations are in full gear to bring back the event this year. Scheduled to be held from 6 to 8 December 2016 at the Kaohsiung Exhibition Centre, the second edition of iMT Taiwan will spring further from the remarkable achievements recorded last year as the event stands stronger as Taiwan’s first and only exhibition dedicated to the metal industry.
Rave reviews and positive endorsements from delighted exhibitors and visitors on the impressive top-grade products and wide range displayed at the first staging provided the quality mark for iMT Taiwan’s organizer – Kaigo Co., Ltd to continue featuring 13 product categories namely - Material Science and Engineering, Heat Technology, Metallurgy, Foundry, Forging, Molding, Coating, Joint and Cut Technology, Metal Forming Technology, Tube Machinery and Equipment, Wire Machinery and Equipment, Semi-finished and Finished Products, and Turnkey Equipment.
For its second staging, iMT Taiwan is earmarked to present over 200 exhibiting companies covering some 9,100 sqm exhibition space catered for over 6,000 trade buyers and professional visitors. An 50% increase in overall exhibition growth is expected compared to its preceding performance last year where a total of 172 exhibiting companies from 11 companies convened at the exhibition to showcase their newest cutting-edge technologies, machinery, equipment and products to 4,657 international trade visitors across its 4,550 sqm show floor.
With 85% of the pioneer exhibiting companies having pre-booked or indicated interest to return in 2016, fast-moving sales of booth spaces have provided a promising start to iMT Taiwan. Noting his confidence that the exhibition will gain continued success, Mr. Gerd Keim, President of Kaigo Co.,Ltd said that, “amidst a resilient global economy and with the relentless support from our industry partners, we are aiming to go maximum force in delivering an even better show for the industry.” iMT Taiwan will be held under the advice of the Kaohsiung City Government with the support of Messe Düsseldorf GmbH – organizer of the world’s top metal trade fairs, and over 20 international and local industry partners and associations.
Strategically put together to further uplift Taiwan’s position as a strong metal producer for global markets, iMT Taiwan will feature the end-to-end manufacturing and supply chain for the metal sector derived from Taiwan’s unique technological capabilities, research & development intelligence as well as its skilled workforce.
Worldwide exhibiting companies participating at the exhibition will experience iMT Taiwan as the ideal platform to find new business in Taiwan, gain insights of rising growth sectors within the country and optimize its strong position to springboard into newer markets in the Far East or other emerging markets around Asia and beyond.
