The Kingdom of Bahrain’s first forum for sustainable technology exports, “Export of Transformational Industries and Their Role in Promoting Global Environmental Sustainability”, was held under the patronage and in the presence of The Kingdom of Bahrain’s Minister of Industry and Commerce, His Excellency Mr Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, His Excellency Mr Piyush Srivastava, The Ambassador of The Republic of India to The Kingdom of Bahrain and Mrs Safa Sharif Abdulkhaliq, Chief Executive Officer, Export Bahrain. At the forum, TAHA International’s technology licensing agreement for sustainable zero-waste aluminium dross processing with Indian sustainability leader Runaya Group was recognized and celebrated. Also in attendance were numerous officials representing the governments and private sectors of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of India.
Mr Patrick Pollmann, the Group CEO of TAHA International, said that his company continues to be a global leader in the processing of aluminium dross. He reiterated TAHA’s commitment to continue to innovate in this area, employ the finest talent and set global trends for the promotion of aluminium metal, which has emerged as the metal of the future.
"Under this technology licensing agreement, TAHA's aluminium dross processing technology provides a sustainable and distinctive solution for the Indian aluminium industry. Furthermore, adopting methods to eliminate hazardous and toxic industrial wastes, as is achieved with TAHA's solutions, will further support sustainable global economic growth," said Mr Pollmann at the forum.
Mr Pollmann emphasized TAHA’s dedication to environmental and climate issues through fulfilling sustainable development goals, shifting towards a green economy, reducing carbon emissions, and ensuring the sustainability of resources for future generations.

We are also grateful for the work of Export Bahrain for helping to facilitate this technology licensing agreement, and we look forward to further agreements of this calibre in the near future.”
As part of the event, Mr Pollmann participated in a panel discussion with several senior executives representing international industrial companies. The focus of the panel discussion was on the pivotal concepts, and probable outcomes that waste reduction technologies such as TAHA’s technology will have for the aluminium sector. The panellists agreed upon the importance of increasing the development and adoption of new technologies in order to improve environmental sustainability.
