German aluminium producer Speira has launched CORIS, a new product label for high-purity aluminium designed for advanced technology applications, including semiconductors, electronics, aerospace, medical technology and electrification.
The CORIS range covers aluminium purity levels from 99.9% (3N) to 99.9999% or higher (6N+). Speira said the products are designed to meet the growing demand for materials with high electrical and thermal conductivity, precision and reliability.
The company controls trace elements at parts-per-million (ppm) levels to maintain consistent material quality and performance. High-purity aluminium is used in applications where even small amounts of impurities can affect the material's properties.

Eike C. Reese, Commercial Lead in Speira’s New Business Development, said, “Advanced technologies increasingly depend on materials that deliver exceptional consistency and reliability.”
The portfolio includes standard high-purity grades and customised alloy compositions tailored to individual customer requirements. Products are available in several forms, including billets, ingots, plates, sheets, foil and wire rod, alongside customised solutions.
Reese added further, “With CORIS, we combine our expertise in refining, alloying, casting and rolling to provide customers with high-purity aluminium solutions that help them push technological boundaries with confidence.”

Speira processes high-purity aluminium at its Rheinwerk facility, combining refining, casting and rolling capabilities to supply materials for applications such as batteries, optics, thin-film coatings, cryogenic conductors, optoelectronics and data and communication infrastructure.
The company said the integrated manufacturing process supports consistent quality, reliable supply and product development in collaboration with customers.
Reese said CORIS aims to help customers develop new applications and advance technologies that require specialised aluminium materials.
