China’s A00 aluminium ingot price registers a W-o-W surge of RMB480/t; Aluminium powder price inches up to RMB20.8/kg

On Tuesday, April 18, China's A00 aluminium ingot price surged by RMB 120 per tonne to stand at RMB 18,860 per tonne. On a W-o-W calculation, the A00 aluminium ingot price has shot up by RMB 480 per tonne from RMB 18,380 per tonne recorded on April 11. The spot contract price for today has been traded at a discount price of RMB 10 to a price of RMB 30. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 18,840 per tonne and RMB 18,880 per tonne.

As per the SMM data, the price in Shenyang has hiked by RMB 150 per tonne to peg at RMB 18,890 per tonne, followed by a growth of RMB 135 per tonne in Wuxi and RMB 130 per tonne in Hangzhou to score at RMB 18,880 per tonne and RMB 18,900, respectively. Gongyi's price has increased by RMB 110 per tonne to reach RMB 18,750 per tonne. As per the SMM data in Foshan and Tianjin, the aluminium ingot price has expanded by RMB 100 per tonne to halt at RMB 18,970 per tonne and RMB 18,840 per tonne. In Linyi, the price has ascended by RMB 70 per tonne to stop at RMB 18,860 per tonne.

The domestic price of low carbon aluminium has hiked by RMB 100 per tonne to halt at RMB 19,552 per tonne. The high purity aluminium (99.99%) and high purity aluminium (99.996%) price has shot up by RMB 100 per tonne to clock at RMB 26,600 per tonne and RMB 27,600 per tonne.

The aluminium alloy (A356) price has gained RMB 100 per tonne to peg at RMB 19,750 per tonne, with the average prices standing between RMB 19,600 per tonne and RMB 19,900 per tonne. For aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380), the price has gone up by RMB 50 per tonne to settle at RMB 19,300 per tonne and RMB 20,300 per tonne. The average price for (ADC12) is expected to range between RMB 19,200 per tonne and RMB 19,400 per tonne. For aluminium alloy (A380), the average price may range between RMB 20,200 per tonne and RMB 20,400 per tonne.

The aluminium powder price has inched up by RMB 0.1 per kg to come in at RMB 20.8 per kg, with the average prices orbiting between RMB 20.7 per kg and RMB 20.9 per kg.
