
A00 aluminium ingot price has plummeted by RMB 240 per tonne, officially closing at RMB 18,380 per tonne, as the Shanghai Metals Market recorded on April 11, Tuesday. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 18,360 per tonne and RMB 18,400 per tonne, with spot contracts trading at a discount price of RMB 40 per tonne.

The eight provinces in China all have seen declining prices today, with the aluminium price plunging the highest in Foshan by RMB 250 per tonne, closing at RMB 18,500 per tonne. In Chongqing, the aluminium price fell by RMB 240 per tonne accumulating at RMB 18,520 per tonne, while in Gongyi, the aluminium price slumped by RMB 230 per tonne, settling down at RMB 18,310 per tonne. The aluminium prices in Shenyang, Tianjin and Linyi have decreased by RMB 220 per tonne, officially closing at RMB 18,430 per tonne, RMB 18,400 per tonne and RMB 18,430 per tonne. The aluminium price in Wuxi has shed RMB 60 per tonne, stopping at RMB 18,610 per tonne. Lastly, Hangzhou's aluminium price has decreased by RMB 30 per tonne, clocking at RMB 18,650 per tonne.
The domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has hugely shrunk by RMB 244 per tonne, officially closing at RMB 19,082 per tonne.
The high-purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) price have both lost a massive RMB 300 per tonne to stand at RMB 26,300 per tonne and RMB 27,300 per tonne.
The price of aluminium alloy (A356) has slumped by RMB 250 per tonne, closing at RMB 19,300 per tonne, while the price of aluminium alloy (A380) has dropped by RMB 150 per tonne, resting at RMB 20,200 per tonne. The price of aluminium alloy (ADC12) has plunged by RMB 150 per tonne to anchor at RMB 19,200 per tonne.
The price of aluminium powder has also been on a downward trend dropping by RMB 0.20 per tonne to close at RMB 20.30 per kg, with average prices ranging between RMB 20.20 per kg and RMB 20.40 per kg.
