Polygon has expanded its trail line-up with three fresh additions to the Collosus T aluminium range: The T5, T6, and T8. Built on an established aggressive trail platform, the models combine IFS Compact suspension with integrated storage, adjustable geometry and 29/MX compatibility. Produced entirely in-house, the range aims to make high-level trail capability accessible to a broader spectrum of riders.
{alcircleadd}Design and frame concept
The aluminium Collosus T series mirrors the travel and geometry of its carbon counterpart, carrying over the same intent: confident performance across demanding terrain. Up front, 160mm of suspension travel is paired with a 64.5-degree head angle, adjustable to 63.75 degrees via supplied headset cups for a more aggressive stance on descents. A 77-degree effective seat tube angle keeps climbing efficient and comfortable.
Geometry has been tailored with a clear focus on fit across the size range, with reach figures extending from 440mm up to 505mm. Rear-end dimensions vary accordingly, using 430mm chainstays on small and medium frames, and slightly longer 435mm stays on large and extra-large options. Further adjustment is available via a high or low bottom bracket setting, while a flip chip positioned in the rear triangle enables riders to alternate between a full 29-inch wheel setup or a mixed-wheel arrangement.
The aluminium frame also introduces Polygon’s PolyPocket storage, neatly integrated within the downtube. Constructed using revised materials for improved robustness, it comes supplied with a Velcro-secured inner pouch designed to hold tools and spares firmly in place without unwanted movement or noise on the trail.
Suspension platform
Across the range, Polygon’s IFS Compact system delivers 140mm of rear travel. This twin-link configuration draws directly from the Collosus N six-bar IFS design, originally developed for enduro racing to improve traction, composure at speed and overall control. The compact iteration retains these attributes while reducing weight and improving pedalling efficiency, making it well suited to aggressive trail use.

Specification overview
The entry point, the T5, is equipped with a RockShox Psylo Silver RC fork offering 160mm of travel, paired with a RockShox Deluxe Select rear shock. Shifting is handled by Shimano’s CUES 1x11-speed drivetrain, working with a Samox crankset and KMC XGlide chain. Braking duties fall to Shimano MT420 units, while an XFusion Manic LC dropper post is fitted - offering 150mm of travel on smaller frames and 170mm on larger sizes. The bike rolls on Vee Snap WCE tyres mounted to Polygon’s MT6 tubeless-ready wheels, built around Shimano TC-500 hubs.
Stepping up, the T6 introduces a RockShox Psylo Gold RC fork, featuring a dedicated low-speed compression adjustment, alongside a RockShox Deluxe Select+ rear shock. The drivetrain is upgraded to Shimano SLX 1x12-speed, known for its durability and consistent performance. Tyres are also improved, with Maxxis Dissector 29 x 2.40-inch units providing enhanced grip and control.
At the top of the aluminium range sits the T8. Suspension is handled by a Fox 36 Performance fork with 160mm of travel and a Fox Float Performance rear shock. The drivetrain moves to SRAM Eagle 70 T-Type 1x12-speed, incorporating full UDH compatibility for reliable shifting under load. Braking performance is elevated with Magura MT5 callipers and larger rotors, 203mm at the front and 180mm at the rear. All three models share a Polygon Xpert cockpit measuring 780mm in width with a 35mm clamp diameter, and are available in sizes ranging from small through to extra-large.
