Fives, an industrial engineering Group, has entered into a partnership with Norda Stelo, a Canada-based impact engineering firm, offering sustainable and innovative solutions, to bring innovative robotics solutions to the aluminium industry. Within this collaboration, Fives ECL will incorporate robotic technology within its Anode Rodding Shops (ARS).
{alcircleadd}By implementing these systems, the firm can connect both the upstream and downstream with SOFIA (Smart On-the-Fly Inspection and Analysis). SOFIA, a solution by Fives, which has been designed to characterise anode butt process parameters and boost operational quality.
