Polyframe acquires Customade to become UK’s largest aluminium windows trader

Customade, a company with expertise in manufacturing of high quality aluminium windows, doors and conservatory roofs has been acquired by and merged with Polyframe Group Limited (Polyframe). The company operates under the REAL, Atlas and Fineline aluminium brands.
News Polyframe is the UK’S leading manufacturer of trade windows and doors. This is Polyframe’s third acquisition since July 2016. A specialist investment firm Cairngorm Capital Partners LLP has supported this acquisition.

The two companies’ merger will expand their product range and boost growth by increasing manufacturing capability.

According to Polyframe, Customade’s specialization in manufacturing aluminium windows, doors and roof lanterns will complement their PVCu windows and composite door products portfolio. The company will now provide best-in-class products.

This merger and acquisition will help Polyframe to turn into UK’s largest manufacturer of PVCu and aluminium windows and composite entry doors. The company will offer nationwide services as they have extended from Scotland to the South-West.

John Lightowlers, Customade’s Managing Director, will now become Group Managing Director of the new combined company.
