As of October 20, SMM statistics show domestic aluminium ingot social inventory across the three regions stood at the 450,000-million-tonne level, down further from the previous trading day, marking six consecutive working days of destocking.
By region, all three regions saw destocking, with Guangdong and Wuxi posting relatively notable declines, while Gongyi edged down, and the scope of destocking expanded from the prior period.
