Det Norske Veritas will collect data from the 11 metering stations next week (week 46), expecting start-up on Monday 11 November 2013. Nordic Mining's first reporting of results from the measuring will be published in week 47.

The 11 metering stations are currently recording parameters like temperature, salinity, density, pressure and oxygen content in the Førde fjord. In addition, water currents are measured at 6 of the stations, using advanced profiling metering instruments which will record current velocities and directions at different water depths.

Tel-Tek, a Porsgrunn based institute with comprehensive experience from industrial assessments is currently executing techno-economic evaluations related to the alumina project. The evaluations include complex modeling and assessment of assumptions for the initial economic evaluation of an industrial alumina project.

In agreement with Tel-Tek and the Institute of Energy Research (IFE) the reporting of the techno-economic evaluations has been scheduled till the second half of November 2013.
