NBS: China's H1 alumina output up 9.3% Y-o-Y in H1 2025

China's total alumina output, including smelter-grade alumina and other types, rose by 9.3 per cent year-on-year to reach 45.15 million tonnes during the first half of 2025, according to the latest data released by the country's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).
In June alone, China produced 7.75 million tonnes of alumina, up by 3.5 per cent from May and by 7.8 per cent from the same month last year, the NBS data showed.
