Midas Aluminum Started Construction in automobile parts project

50 thousand tons motor-trolley profile and car body component project of Midas Aluminum Company started construction, the technicists were in the process of debugging host device.
This project will divided into two stages, located at Yibin area, invested 2.46 billion yuan totally, occupied 583 mu of land. The first stage will invest 1.46 billion yuan to build extrusion, casting, mould workshop and auxiliary facilities. At present has finished the construction of extrusion workshop’s structure wall body; the host device was under installation; 50% of casting workshop’s building envelope has finished installation; prepared to proceed outer wallboard maintain and installation of mould workshop since inner wallboard has finished.
This project is one of the world five advanced large aluminum extrusion production lines, also is the only project that can develop and produce varied profiles for rapid trains, metro, maglev, light rail and structure of exclusive wagon. It is expected that the annual sales revenue will reaches 1.8 billion yuan after contruction, profits and taxes 0.5 billion yuan, also can create 2000 jobs.
