
LME aluminium opened at US$2,219.5 per tonne on Tuesday, with its high and low at US$2,225 per tonne and US$2,205 per tonne, respectively, before closing at US$2,215.5 per tonne, a decrease of US$1.5 per tonne or 0.07 per cent.
{alcircleadd}The LME aluminium live price chart experienced elevating aluminium price trends on September 19, with the LME aluminium cash bid price and the LME aluminium official price gaining US$9.50 per tonne or 0.44 per cent to officially close at US$2,174 per tonne and US$2,174.50 per tonne.
London Metal Exchange graph displayed that the 3-month bid price and the 3-month official price have heightened by US$10 per tonne or 0.45 per cent and US$9.50 per tonne or 0.43 per cent, respectively, to stop at US$2,215 per tonne and US$2,215.50 per tonne.
The December 24 bid price and the December 24 official price have grown by US$9 per tonne or 0.38 per cent, settling at US$2,352 per tonne and US$2,357 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock recorded a downward shift of 2,750 tonnes or 0.56 per cent to finally settle at 489,825 tonnes. Live warrants stood at 237,500 tonnes, with 500 tonnes or 0.21 per cent being added to it. Cancelled warrants negated a massive 23,250 tonnes or 9.1 per cent to lock at 232,325 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price halted at US$2,210.36 per tonne, up US$10.18 per tonne or 0.46 per cent.
SHFE aluminium price
Today, on September 20, the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) aluminium benchmark price has seen a fall of US$9 per tonne or 0.34 per cent to settle at US$2,635 per tonne.
Overnight, the most-traded SHFE 2310 aluminium contract opened at RMB 19,325 per tonne and went down before closing at RMB 19,160 per tonne, down RMB 75 per tonne or 0.39 per cent compared with the previous trading day.
SHFE 2307 aluminium added RMB 595 per tonne or 3.38 per cent to RMB 18,185 per tonne. The open interest fell 11,785 lots to 256,640 lots.
