LME aluminium price mounts to US$2,355/t; SHFE remains closed for National Day Holiday

On Thursday, October 6, both LME aluminium cash bid price and LME aluminium official settlement price soared up by US$66.5 per tonne or 2.90 per cent and US$66 per tonne or 2.88 per cent to settle at US$2,354.50 per tonne and US$2,355 per tonne.

3-month bid price and 3-month offer price surged by US$62 per tonne or 2.69 per cent and US$61 per tonne or 2.65 per cent to rest at US$2,359 per tonne and US$2,360 per tonne.
December 23 bid price and December 23 offer price shot up by US$62 per tonne or 2.59 per cent and 2.58 per cent to record at US$2,452 per tonne and US$2,457 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock came in at 328850 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants stood at 265625 tonnes and 63225 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price showed no change, settling at US$2,402.01 per tonne.

SHFE aluminium price
Today, on October 7, the SHFE benchmark aluminium price has not altered due to the National Holidays Celebration.
