LME aluminium cash (bid) price moved down by US$67.5 or by 2.24 percent to close at US$2,945.50 per tonne. LME aluminium official settlement price descended by US$68 or by 2.25 percent to total at US$2,946 per tonne. 3-month bid price and 3-month offer price settled at US$2,955 per tonne and US$2,957 per tonne. December 22 bid price closed at US$2,857 per tonne and the offer price for the same day totalled at US$2,862 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock for October 22 closed at 1086625 tonnes. Live warrants for the same day totalled at 621150 tonnes and cancelled warrants stood at 465475 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price for Friday, October 22, closed at US$2874.10 per tonne.
SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
On Friday, October 22, benchmark aluminium price for SHFE moved down by US$30 to settle at US$3,408 per tonne.
The most-traded SHFE 2112 aluminium closed down RMB 1690 per tonne to RMB 21580 per tonne, with open interest down 15156 lots to 211081 lots.
During last Friday’s night session, the most-traded SHFE 2112 aluminium contract opened at RMB 21,855 per tonne, with the lowest price at RMB 20,525 per tonne before closing at RMB 21,460 per tonne, down RMB 550 per tonne.
