LME aluminium descends by 5.76% to stand at US$2,490.50/t; SHFE price ascends by US$47
LME aluminium opened at US$2,558 per tonne last Friday morning and closed at US$2,555 per tonne.
On Friday, November 5, LME aluminium cash (bid) price shrank by US$152.5 per tonne or by 5.77 percent to stand at US$2,490 per tonne. LME aluminium official settlement price also got reduced by US$152.5 per tonne or by 5.76 percent to record at US$2,490.50 per tonne. December 22 bid price and December 22 offer price settled at US$2,503 per tonne and US$2,508 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock on November 5 closed at 1004050 tonnes. Live warrants for the same day stood at 621850 tonnes and cancelled warrant settled at 382200 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price stood at US$2,526.15 per tonne on November 5.
SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
On Monday, November 8, the benchmark aluminium price for SHFE moved up by US$47 tonne to stand at US$2,971 per tonne.
The most-traded SHFE 2112 aluminium closed down RMB 1280 per tonne to RMB 18680 per tonne, with open interest up 1339 lots to 217320 lots.
The most-traded SHFE 2112 aluminium contract opened at RMB 18,685 per tonne during last Friday’s night session before closing at RMB 19,020 per tonne, up RMB 340 per tonne.
