LME aluminium descends by 0.95% to US$2,695/t; SHFE price decreases by US$40
LME aluminium opened at US$2,749 per tonne last Friday morning and closed at US$2,733.5 per tonne, down US$14.5 per tonne or 0.53 percent.
Both LME aluminium cash (bid) price and LME aluminium official settlement price decreased by US$26 or by 0.95 percent to total at US$2,694.50 per tonne and US$2,695 per tonne. 3-month bid price and 3-month offer price US$2,693 per tonne and US$2,695 per tonne. December 22 bid price and December 22 offer price stood at US$2,628 per tonne and US$2,633 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock on October 29 settled at 1042800 tonnes. Live warrants were recorded at 625350 tonnes and cancelled warrants closed at 417450 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price for Friday, October 29, totalled at US$2,697.42 per tonne.
SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
On Monday, November 1, the benchmark aluminium price for SHFE moved down by US$40 per tonne to settle at US$3,144 per tonne.
The most-traded SHFE 2112 aluminium closed up RMB 160 per tonne to RMB 19870 per tonne, with open interest up 16476 lots to 223012 lots.
The most-traded SHFE 2112 aluminium contract opened at RMB 19,650 per tonne during last Friday’s night session, with the lowest price at RMB 19,570 per tonne before closing at RMB 20,470 per tonne, up RMB 235 per tonne or 1.16 percent.
