LME aluminium closed at US$2,620/t on Thursday; SHFE aluminium rose 1.1% in the overnight trading

LME aluminium opened at US$2,620 per tonne on Thursday morning, with the lowest and highest prices at US$2,593.5 per tonne and US$2,639 per tonne. The contract settled at US$2,620 per tonne.
As of Thursday, August 26, LME aluminium cash (bid) price stands at US$ 2635 per tonne, LME official settlement price stands at US$ 2635 per tonne; 3-months bid price stands at US$ 2614.50 per tonne, 3-months offer price is US$ 2614.50 per tonne; Dec 22 bid price stands at US$ 2580 per tonne, and Dec 22 offer price stands at US$ 2580 per tonne.

The LME aluminium opening stock stood at 1306950 tonnes. Live Warrants totalled 865150 tonnes and Cancelled Warrants were 441800 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-months Asian Reference Price is hovering at US$ 2601.37 per tonne.
SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
Benchmark aluminium price for SHFE increased to stand at US$ 3188 per tonne on Friday, 27 August, 2021.
The most-traded SHFE 2110 aluminium closed down 0.85% to RMB20415 per tonne on Thursday, with open interest down 5583 lots to 307000 lots. The contract opened Thursday's night session at RMB20,485 per tonne and closed at RMB20,640 per tonne, up 1.1%.
