
As updated by Shanghai Metals Market, social inventories of primary aluminium across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, increased by 12,000 tonnes this week to come in at 753,000 tonnes as of Thursday, 26 August 2021.

{alcircleadd}Primary aluminium stocks in Gongyi contributed the largest share due to higher arrivals of cargoes. The inventories stood at 69,000 tonnes on Thursday, 26 August 2021, up by 24,000 tonnes from 45,000 tonnes on 19 August. The aluminium stocks in Shanghai, Hangzhou, Tianjin, Chongqing and Linyi remained unchanged at 73,000 tonnes, 83,000 tonnes, 65,000 tonnes, 4,000 tonnes and 13,000 tonnes.
Inventories of primary aluminium in Nanhai increased by 1,000 tonnes from last Thursday to stand at 201,000 tonnes as of Thursday, 26 August 2021. But the stocks in Wuxi declined by 13,000 tonnes, standing at 245,000 tonnes.
