
LME aluminium opened at US$2,211 per tonne on Thursday, with its high and low at US$2,239 per tonne and US$2,206.5 per tonne, respectively, before closing at US$2,220 per tonne, an increase of US$12 per tonne or 0.54 per cent.

On Thursday, September 14, both LME aluminium cash bid price and LME aluminium official settlement price expanded by US$36 per tonne or 1.66 per cent to close at US$2,192 per tonne and US$2,192.50 per tonne.
As per the data uploaded by the London Metal Exchange (LME), both 3-month bid price and 3-month offer price grew by US$39.5 per tonne or 1.79 per cent and US$38 per tonne or 1.72 per cent to halt at US$2,234.50 per tonne and US$2,235 per tonne.
December 24 bid price and December 24 offer price hiked by US$40 per tonne or 1.71 per cent to stand at US$2,370 per tonne and US$2,375 per tonne. LME aluminium opening stock resided at 498525 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants closed at 238475 tonnes and 260050 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price gained US$26.44 per tonne to clock at US$2,223.08 per tonne.
SHFE aluminium price
Today, on September 15, the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) aluminium benchmark price has ascended by US$34 per tonne or 1.27 per cent to settle at US$2,703 per tonne. Overnight, the most-traded SHFE 2310 aluminium contract opened at RMB 19,360 per tonne, with its lowest and highest at RMB 19,310 per tonne and RMB 19,390 per tonne before closing at RMB 19,330 per tonne, up RMB 105 per tonne or 0.55 per cent compared with the previous trading day.
