LME aluminium ascends by 0.66% to US$2,713/t; SHFE price increases by US$12

Three-month LME aluminium opened at US$2,742 per tonne yesterday and closed at US$2,719.5 per tonne, down 0.51 percent.

On Monday, November 1, LME aluminium cash (bid) price soars up by US$18 or by 0.66 percent to stand at US$2,712.50 per tonne. LME aluminium official settlement price also ascended by US$18 or by 0.66 percent to total at US$2,713 per tonne. December 22 bid price and December 22 offer price closed at US$2,660 per tonne and US$2,665 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock on November 1 stood at 1035525 tonnes. Live warrants settled at 625350 tonnes and cancelled warrants were recorded at 410175 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price for Monday, November 1, closed at US$2,719.42 per tonne.
SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
On Tuesday, November 2, the benchmark aluminium price for SHFE increased by US$12 per tonne to settle at US$3,156 per tonne.
The most-traded SHFE 2112 aluminium closed down RMB 210 per tonne to RMB 20025 per tonne, with open interest down 8383 lots to 214629 lots.
The most-traded SHFE 2112 aluminium contract rose 0.07 percent to close at RMB 20,065 per tonne.
